I thought that was it, get married, raise a big family with many children of my own and live happily ever after.

I kept the faith, went to Church on Sundays, I attended Bible studies, conferences, events, workshops, youth groups, retreats — anything I could get my hands on that would enrich my faith and the faith of others.

Ultimately, this became the time when I first began to devote my energy to the study of Catholic Apologetics. I would find myself, actively engaged in deep discussions with people of different religious backgrounds including pastors, professors, and philosophers.

It was a good learning experience for me to be exposed to so many different views. I didn't know all the answers at first but I sure searched for it after my many friendly debates. I consumed Catholic books, tapes, videos, websites and other materials to know firsthand "What is the Official Catholic position on this particular issue?"

These were the times that I realized I needed to personally dig deeper in my knowledge of the faith and that my grade 7 level understanding was not enough for me to articulate the faith to others. And to my utter amazement, my faith and reason were merging to find the same Truth.
